May, 2025 — Street and travel photographer Mark Aaron Coffield returns with a compelling follow-up to his debut photography collection. The Next 20 Months of Street and Travel Photography in Vietnam invites readers on an intimate visual journey through the streets of Saigon and the vibrant corners of Vietnam—documented during a deeply personal and transformative chapter of his life.
Coffield, a West Virginia native and longtime footwear industry professional (Nike, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Specialized), currently oversees over 1,000 employees as country manager for OrthoLite in Ho Chi Minh City. Despite a demanding full-time career and the life-altering experiences of welcoming a newborn, undergoing hip replacement surgery, and losing both parents—all within 243 days—Coffield found time to pursue his passion for photography with renewed purpose.
This second volume features a stunning collection of images captured across Saigon, Hoi An, Mui Ne, and Nha Trang. With a sharp eye for street life and a deep respect for local culture, Coffield captures the heartbeat of Vietnam through striking black-and-white and color photography. From motor scooters whizzing through intersections to the quiet resilience of street vendors beneath conical hats, his photos evoke both movement and stillness—offering viewers an unfiltered look into the everyday beauty of Vietnam.
Social media never felt like the right place for my work, books ask people to slow down—to engage more deeply with each image, its composition, and the moment it represents. I fell in love with the people, the place, and the culture of Vietnam, and I hope this book reflects that.
